I thought I would make a general "letter" for fic exchanges and the like that I can link to in the future. To be updated as need and desire arises! :

General likes:

• Fluff
• hurt/comfort
• angst with a happy or hopeful ending
• gay girls
• character or relationship studies
• romance and flirting in general
• kissing, cuddling, snuggling etc. so long as it doesn't get into the NSFW zone
• fix-its
• pining/yearning
• battle couples
• expansions on canon
• friends-to-lovers
• rivals-to-lovers
• for butch/femme couples - the femme being the "dominate" one in the relationship
• sexuality explorations that end in positivity (aka "ugh what if I'm gay" turning into "actually I'm ok with it")

General DNWs:

• Absolutely no M/F or M/M shipping unless requested - nothing against it but I'm literally only here for girls.
• Smut or sexual content unless requested.
• "Unusual" sex AUs like A/B/O, although this should probably be understood from not wanting smut to begin with
• Hopeless/bad endings (bittersweet is ok)
• excessive use of epithets (i.e. "The taller man", "The blonde" etc)
• harm to animals
• focus on eating/preparing meat (mentioning it offhandedly is ok)
• Cheating/infidelity
• incest
• noncon/dubcon
• bestiality/zoophilia
• master/slave, both in a kink and literal context
• permanent main character death, unless it's canon
• OT3/polyamory unless requested
• "genderswap" unless requested (trans is ok with caveats, see below)

Maybes:

• AUs - in general I like happier AUs when the canon itself is really depressing, for example Madoka Magica. For things that are already pretty upbeat (i.e. Precure) I lean towards preferring canon.
• Gender Headcanons - so long as the character or relationship still counts as Sapphic (F/F) I'm all for it.
• "Found Family" - for personal reasons I was never as enamored with this trope as so many other people are, I'm still ok with it so long as it's not the main focus of the work.
• Whump/torture - ok if it's not sexual/overly gory and has a "good ending" where the character escapes or is rescued from the situation, not ok otherwise
